…All the good things have an end…

My first Belgian experience is finishing. I am really sad, but deeply very calm because I had a good experience here.

The tears come back to my face; 50% sad tears 50% happy tears and in my mind there are only affectionate and lovely memories.

I will never know if this experience could be better, but I am sure that this experience gave me a lot of unforgettable memories, a lot of magical moment, infinite smiles...

I could take pictures, I could meet people, and I could make a lot of trips…

I will never know if this experience could be better, but I am sure that I smiled, I learned and I grown up.

In that way, I want to give my last present here in Ghent.

It is a video from the director of “Romeo & Juliet” or “Moulin Rouge” (Bazz Luhrman) and it’s called “To wear Sunscreen”. Simply marvellous.I hope you enjoy it and be happy!!

And they all lived happily ever after, and that is the end of the story.

Thank you for all Ghent.

frank miller...

After leaving DC, Miller intended to only release his work via Dark Horse, however he had one final project fr Epic Comics. Elektra Lives Again was a fully-painted graphic novel written and drawn by Miller and colored by longtime partner Varley. Telling the story of the resurrection of Elektra from the dead and Daredevil's quest to find her, it was the first example of a new style in Miller's art, as well as showing Miller's willingness to experiment with new storytelling techniques.

1990 saw Miller and artist Geof Darrow start work on Hard Boiled, a three-issue mini-series which suffered from long delays between issues. That aside, the title was a mix of violence and satire which was praised for Darrow's highly detailed art and Miller's writing. At the same time Miller and artist Dave Gibbons produced Give Me Liberty, a four-issue mini-series for Dark Horse. Another mixture of action and political satire, the title sold well and firmly cemented Miller's reputation as a writer of more 'adult' comic books. Give Me Liberty was followed by several follow up series and specials, all of which were written by Miller and drawn by Gibbons.

Miller also wrote the script for RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. Neither were critically well received. After RoboCop 3, Miller stated that he would never allow Hollywood to make movie adaptations of his comics, being disgusted with the constant studio interference with his scriptwriting. Miller would come into contact with the fictional cyborg once more, writing the critically-acclaimed, best-selling limited series, RoboCop vs. The Terminator, with art by Walter Simonson. In 2003, Miller's screenplay for RoboCop 2 was eventually adapted by Steven Grant for Avatar Press's Pulsaar imprint, which now owns the rights to create comics based on RoboCop. Illustrated by Juan Jose Ryp, the series is called Frank Miller's RoboCop and contains plot elements that were divided between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3

.

In 1991 Miller started work on his first Sin City story. Serialised in Dark Horse Presents issues 51 to 62, this was Miller's first completely solo work as he wrote and drew the story in black and white to emphasize its film noir origins. Proving to be another success, the story was released in a trade paperback. This first Sin City "yarn" was re-released in 2005 under the name The Hard Goodbye. Sin City proved to be Miller's main project for much of the remainder of the decade as Miller told more Sin City stories within this noir world of his creation, in the process helping to revitalize the crime comics genre. Sin City proved artistically auspicious for Miller and again brought his work to a wider audience outside of comics.

Written and illustrated by Frank Miller with painted colors by Lynn Varley, 300 was a 1998 graphic novel series (later collected into a single hardcover issue) a retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae and the events leading up to it from the perspective of Leonidas of Sparta. 300 was particularly inspired by the 1962 film The 300 Spartans, a movie that Miller watched as a young boy.

Global Warming..

For me, global warming is not only the problem we have with our ecosystem. Global warming is also warming of people. It is their anger, their hatred, their concerns. Today's society takes Prozac and Valium; society operates teats because they are not happy with them, and too many people do not speak with their families. Today's society is sad and angry.
I believe that anger, hatred, are bad for our health. They are not good for our health. The world of creativity can take advantage of these concepts, but in the world of Mario, they must be abolished.
The first decree is to abolish the slams. I do not like them. The heavy slams makes noise nuisance, they can injure some finger, and are a symptom that something is not right.
Therefore, in my ideal world there would only padded doors or gates in which it is impossible to close strong Even to add some music-melody for each time it is closed.
Possible songs: Could you be love-Bob Marley; Twist & Shout-The Beatles ;Iko iko-Zap Mama

These are some of the possible songs that would be installed at the gates to ease tensions.

For a world without slams!!!

I guess you remember the world campaigns, where some people give some hugs. Basically it is to put a poster in the chest. In that cartel you can read : FREE HUGS” .Of course the people that has this poster ,gives hugs to everybody, with the aim to create nets of sympathy, love , and affection. It is very nice, really?

I am a very transgressor, and brave and overall creative, and I want deeply to create nets of sympathy, love and affection. The next year (during Christmas) I will release witch goes far than simply hugs.

I will present kiss-tongues, I will share nights of love without compromise, I will “donate” sex without contemplations, and all of this in the centre on my city.

Tests..

Dear students:
The worst month of the year began for some of us and it is because the tests are here.

That is bad, horrible, and totally terrible for the student.
We leave discos, pubs and breweries or collapse libraries and study rooms.
The cocktails and drams seasoned with alcohol became cups of cafes, nightclubs, porters by night guards of libraries, flyers by notes; DJs by teachers...

The bags under the eyes are a result of our nights of study and not our night thrash.
We change our routine of 6 months for a few weeks of pure stress.
This stress leads us to the path of glory summer. No stress. No pain.

Thank you so much to our Educational System and our teachers. Thank you for these weeks!! We don’t know how to pay you, but thanks!

Do you enjoy making this, really?

To all of you fellow students and troubles I'm encouraging you to endure the hitch
a few will enjoy the summer.
Fight like cats belly up, do not you come down, we can...

Three weeks from now, I will be harvesting my crops. Imagine where you will be, and it will be so.

Hold the line! Stay with me! Be strong! If you find yourself alone… riding in green field with the sun on your face, do don be troubled

For you are in Elysium, and you are already dead!

Brothers…What we do in life, echoes in eternity
